My husband is a much more eloquent and confident speaker but he, too has self image and mental health issues after years of being tormented at school. I am currently waiting to have my first ever appointment for mental health stuff. This is a sub dedicated to providing support, resources, mental health related news and a space aimed mainly at people in the UK dealing with mental health issues. Its all terrible. Every homeschooled kid I knew tended to be in a very liberal household, in fact I was shocked to know home schooling is favored by lots of conservatives now, it didn’t used to be like that. Home schooling gives parents a great amount of control over what their child learns, and if those parents have the means to provide a top notch education for their child I think homeschooling is superior to regular square block round hole schooling.
