Brethren, this episode of the Short Talk Bulletin Podcast was written in 1979 by RW Bro Furman Vincens, PGM – TX, and is brought to us by VW David Koncz, DER 14th, Maine. Here we find a moving story about a man who returns to his hometown to bury his father, the Masons he finds there, and the letter his father left for him. Powerful. Poignant. It brought tears to my eyes. After a letter like that to his son, written so openly and lovingly, who would not want to follow in Dad’s footsteps. This really hit home for me. My father was not a Mason, but it makes me wonder if he had been, he would have really enjoyed it and it would have made his life better. One of my ancestors was a famous Mason, and I decided that I wanted to continue this legacy for my life and if I ever have kids, I will remember this story. Thank you for bringing light to my world today Masonic Service Association. I thank you my brothers. DAR 2º FC son to be raised. God bless.
